To backpeddle on this plan at this stage is par for the course in self doubting Hamilton. All my life I've watched the city miss opportunities due to its fear of change and underdog attitude.

It's time for Hamiltonians to stand up and start making bold moves to reinvent "Steeltown" into something new and vibrant.

The money is being handed to the city, the plans are pretty well there and ready to go. You don't get many freebies in life. Let's get the shovels in the ground and start developing a new Hamilton for the new century.
