Hamilton Light Rail (HLR) urges City Council to continue with the current Light Rail Transit (LRT) procurement model that Council already accepted under the Memorandum of Agreement with Metrolinx on February 10, 2016.
Votes Cast for Statements
I live in Ward 9 and believe that building LRT is the best way to move our city forward. The economic potential of LRT is extraordinary, and when combined with zoning and property tax changes, will create an amazing opportunity to build our city.
Based on public comments from our Mayor, he is not clearly communicating council's or our citizens' strong desire to build an LRT system here in Hamilton. LRT will be a benefit to everyone, including even those who don't live/work downtown Hamilton like myself.
On Monday, Vote #yesLRT
There is only one way to stop the anti-LRT gang from derailing the biggest public infrastructure investment in the city's history.
Support the #yesLRT Campaign
A broad coalition of LRT supporters including Hamilton Light Rail has come together with a new campaign called #yesLRT to make sure this project stays on the rails through the upcoming municipal election.
