LRT Fact: The Province has committed $1 billion to building Hamilton LRT, representing 100% of capital costs

City Council has voted for Hamilton LRT 52 times since 2008

LRT will mean 3500 construction jobs for Hamiltonians

60% of Hamilton voters chose a mayoral candidate who supports LRT in the last election 

The Mayor's office has received 3,790 comments regarding LRT and 88% are in support

LRT will mean 300 permanent new jobs for Hamiltonians.

The approved $1 billion LRT budget can only be used for LRT.

LRT is planned for the busiest transit corridor in Hamilton.

It's about time.

Because that seems to turn around a lot of BRT supporters I speak of.
