Statement by Denise O’Connor
Hamilton is a large city that has recovered from the loss of manufacturing jobs and is well positioned to thrive and become a great contributor to the provincial economy. We need the increased density in the lower city that comes with LRT. Hamilton has high rates of poverty and this project offers the opportunity to help address that need. You got poor advice from Ms Skelly, who is not a visionary leader. There’s still time to do the right thing.
