Statement by Dean Fulton

Dear Premier Ford,
The people of Hamilton deserve the opportunity to recieve quotes for the proposed LRT project. Once those quotes are recieved, your government can then make an informed decision regarding the funding for the project. As it stands, your people have made unsubstantiated assumptions regarding the cost of the LRT construction and are effectively erasing 12 years of hard work by many private and public entities. This project will benefit the entire Golden Horseshoe; giving the city of Hamilton an anchor point for a revitalized downtown core and the ability to build a transit network which will go a long way toward meeting climate goals and lowering the overall pollution levels in the area.
