Statement by Hans Stief

Good morning,

I'm emailing to show my support for Hamilton's Light Rail Transit Project. This unilateral decision to cancel the project prior to knowing the actual costs is counter productive to creating a meaningful impact on the Hamilton Community. I wholeheartedly support the project and the many positive benefits it will have to the region as a whole - shortsightedness has no place here, Hamilton is poised to be a leading city center in Ontario and this continued back and forth on the project is detrimental to that positive momentum.

Please revert the decision and push forward with the project as planned!
