Please help to fix the huge mistake Mulroney made by cancelling the Hamilton LRT.

This is an extremely important project for the economic growth of the region, and is highly valuable to Hamiltonians.

It's nonsensical to cancel the project, claiming it will be over budget ... BEFORE the bidding process has finished.

Make no mistake, following through on Mulroney's announcement will hurt Hamilton. Don't do it!

I completely support the new Hamilton LRT plan and urge Hamilton City Council to endorse it with the overwhelming majority vote it deserves. I am pleased to see the unwavering support of all the city's anchor institutions. The benefits will accrue to our environment and to all the residents of the City of Hamilton, not just downtown residents. I hope Hamilton will live up to its aspiration as an ambitious city by seizing this one-time opportunity.
