Statement by Kevin Makins

I remember engaging in this issue back in 2007. Fresh out of college, my wife and i had just moved downtown and we were proud to live in such a progressive and ambitious city. I still believe that is the city we need to be.

Alternative transit is one of the most effective ways to become that great city. The funding is available if we speak clearly and in unity: we don't want to be a Canadian city left in the past. We want to welcome a better future. And the time is now.

Please do the right thing. And thank you.
