Statement by Paul Wilson
Kitchener-Waterloo, Ottawa, Mississauga, Toronto all know LRT makes sense, and so does Hamilton. We have voted dozens of times in favour of moving ahead.
Please let the bids-to-build continue. In 90 days we could have real cost numbers.
Then we can look at options: tweaking the project, getting federal help.
LRT is important to move people and to build Hamilton, a city that's faced its share of struggles, but has never given up. We ask only for fairness.
