Statement by Eric Hendry
Premier Ford,
You were elected on a promise to govern Ontario "for the people". Simply put, the people of Hamilton want the LRT.
Getting the LRT back on track is the right thing to do for Hamilton's economy and Ontario's future. It's a common sense approach to transit that will drive growth for generations.
Blue collar communities in our province have been let down time and time again by provincial governments. With the LRT, you have a chance to show that the Ford government has not given up on the hard working people of Hamilton. Let's get to work building Ontario!
