Statement by Justine Lodder
Canceling provincial funding for the LRT for the bogus reasons given is completely in line with the shortsighted and petty decisions that Ford’s government has made since forming Ontario’s current government. Please reconsider especially this move, as Hamilton is finally ready to start working on its LRT and this project will bring many benefits and much growth and stability to Hamilton’s infrastructure, as well as freeing up its transit resources to be used more wisely in other areas. We need to stop giving cars the only lead role in our transportation decisions!
