Statement by Sean Hurley
LRT is about access and opportunity. Groceries, shopping and entertainment becomes available across the length of the corridor erasing food deserts. LRT brings workers and employers together from across the city. Housing in East Hamilton becomes a viable option for McMaster students and staff. Dedicated, frequent and reliable transit is critical infrastructure for every successful city. The future of Hamilton should not be decided by those who view hard work and city building as inconvenient.
