If we build it, they will come. We want a sustainable city, so we simply must reduce individual gas-powered vehicles. We can only do that if there are other options. Our children deserve a city, a country, an earth that can sustain them in good health.

As a journalist I have followed this story for more than 30 years...just like the Linc and Red Hill Expressway which finally got built but costing umpteen million more dollars.
The system in Newcastle Australia, where I recently visited, my husband’s home town, was built in 18 months. We have to start somewhere when it comes to moving this city forward .
