Statement by Benjamin Crotty
Cancelling the LRT is a mistake. The project is incredibly important as a first step in improving Hamilton's transit. It's also important for encouraging investment in Hamilton, updating the infrastructure on King St, and attracting more business to the King St corridor. All of those things need to happen anyway. This project will do all of those things, and cancelling the LRT now just wastes all of the money that has already been spent.
