Statement by Tony Higgins
I feel that our city is on the verge of squandering a great opportunity. An above ground subway along a corridor that is already used by thousands of citizens. It is no wonder people who study public transit (experts) are in favour of a B line LRT.
There is a generation of creative entrepreneurial-minded young people that have been priced out of Toronto. They don't want to own cars. They want to live in urban spaces connected by high quality public transit. They are our future.
We need to be bold and move this city in a new direction.
