If we want to make progress in reducing green house gases we have to to give people viable options to get out of their cars. Bring back the lrt to Hamilton. It is already a city that demonstrates its willingness to use public transit..

As a journalist I have followed this story for more than 30 years...just like the Linc and Red Hill Expressway which finally got built but costing umpteen million more dollars.
The system in Newcastle Australia, where I recently visited, my husband’s home town, was built in 18 months. We have to start somewhere when it comes to moving this city forward .
