Bringing the city of Hamilton into a sustainable future transportation system with the LRT should be the only consideration. It's what we voted for as Hamilton residents in the last municipal election.

As a journalist I have followed this story for more than 30 years...just like the Linc and Red Hill Expressway which finally got built but costing umpteen million more dollars.
The system in Newcastle Australia, where I recently visited, my husband’s home town, was built in 18 months. We have to start somewhere when it comes to moving this city forward .
