Many years of extensive study and a municipal election showed the Hamilton LRT is the public transit project as the best and preferred solution for Hamilton. I strongly support it.
More highways are counterproductive.
Please recommend the continuation of the LRT project.

I completely support the new Hamilton LRT plan and urge Hamilton City Council to endorse it with the overwhelming majority vote it deserves. I am pleased to see the unwavering support of all the city's anchor institutions. The benefits will accrue to our environment and to all the residents of the City of Hamilton, not just downtown residents. I hope Hamilton will live up to its aspiration as an ambitious city by seizing this one-time opportunity.
