As someone who now lives half of the time in Europe (Stockholm Sweden) I can see just how much good public transport can change a city for the better. Hamilton deserves to move forward and get modernized.

I completely support the new Hamilton LRT plan and urge Hamilton City Council to endorse it with the overwhelming majority vote it deserves. I am pleased to see the unwavering support of all the city's anchor institutions. The benefits will accrue to our environment and to all the residents of the City of Hamilton, not just downtown residents. I hope Hamilton will live up to its aspiration as an ambitious city by seizing this one-time opportunity.
