It is imperative to have LRT here in Hamilton as traffic is becoming more and more congested with only one person in the vehicle. We can no longer afford to delay this infrastructure build as time passes it will become more and more expensive. I guess Hamilton needs to experience daily grid lock before they wake up to the need.

As a journalist I have followed this story for more than 30 years...just like the Linc and Red Hill Expressway which finally got built but costing umpteen million more dollars.
The system in Newcastle Australia, where I recently visited, my husband’s home town, was built in 18 months. We have to start somewhere when it comes to moving this city forward .
