Start the LRT. The City needs this, people need this huge project to employe thousands of workers. Stop the debate, the Mayor won on this platform for a LRT therefore use your common sense and get it done!

I completely support the new Hamilton LRT plan and urge Hamilton City Council to endorse it with the overwhelming majority vote it deserves. I am pleased to see the unwavering support of all the city's anchor institutions. The benefits will accrue to our environment and to all the residents of the City of Hamilton, not just downtown residents. I hope Hamilton will live up to its aspiration as an ambitious city by seizing this one-time opportunity.
