Please vote to accept the money that is being offered to Hamilton to build an LRT. The route from Eastgate to McMaster will provide faster, easier transit for the entire lower city and drive investment and development along the entire route. Building the LRT will create jobs and allow Hamilton to upgrade aging infrastructure - work that will need to be done anyway, and can now be done as part of a larger project. This is an extraordinary opportunity for Hamilton.

The Hamilton LRT is an important part of the cities growth. Today with housing affordability being the issue that it is, many people are commuting around more over moving. I truly believe that stopping this project will only hinder Hamilton's economic growth and project in less tax revenue for Ontario.
