To all City Councillors,

Let's finally get shovels into the ground. We cannot and should not delay this any longer. It's time to put the political football on the sidelines once and for all and take a step forward together and simply accept there will never be a "perfect plan". This is an unprecedented opportunity the City has been given so please vote yes and enjoy having your name on the right side of history.

To to move forward together.

I completely support the new Hamilton LRT plan and urge Hamilton City Council to endorse it with the overwhelming majority vote it deserves. I am pleased to see the unwavering support of all the city's anchor institutions. The benefits will accrue to our environment and to all the residents of the City of Hamilton, not just downtown residents. I hope Hamilton will live up to its aspiration as an ambitious city by seizing this one-time opportunity.
