It’s time we move into efficient and environmentally conscious transportation. Across Europe this is the norm, and it works! This project will provide up front jobs and so much more down stream. Looking forwards to quick and smooth rides across town.

As a business operator along the proposed LRT corridor we chose our location based on the LRT plan and were eagerly a anticipating how LRT would better connect our city. I urge the provincial government to uphold their commitment to LRT in Hamilton so that Hamilton's transportation system can move into the 21st century and away from packed buses on terrible road surfaces.

In a resounding 11-3 vote, Hamilton City Council voted today to approve the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Metrolinx to build the Hamilton LRT.
