Statement by Wesley Griffin
The LRT plan is ready to go and we have been ready to move forward with Hamilton LRT since before the Ford government unexpectedly stopped it. The opportunity to make this happen has been revived, providing one last chance to move this project forward. We must take advantage of this opportunity immediately, before it passes.
This plan will drastically improve our city, making it more accessible, sustainable, and profitable. It would be absurd and backwards to let this opportunity pass. This is a chance to step into the future - let's not let our city remain in the past.
