Statement by Megan Lacy
Expanding public transit will make the city more accessible, less car-congested, and subsequently less polluted. When public transit is reliable, fast, and affordable people are more willing to use it to commute. It takes entirely too long to move across Hamilton via bus right now, and as the city's population continues to expand it is crucial to implement LRT as soon as possible.
