I am hopeful Hamilton will finally get light rail despite itself. I work in KW and live in Hamilton. I am a regular user of the Ion LRT in KW. The Ion LRT is a great addition to the rapid transit plan for that city.
Future generations of Hamiltonians will benefit from this rapid transit spine.
I support this project again, and again and again and again.

Please reopen this funding for the Hamilton LRT. We now more than ever need job creation and a connection for our city that the LRT will provide.
The cost was not was it seemed the real numbers are speaking the truth !
The land is purchased let's make an effort and do what was promised and make the LRT a reality.

In a resounding 11-3 vote, Hamilton City Council voted today to approve the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Metrolinx to build the Hamilton LRT.
