Statement by Cesare Di Donato
As a life-long Hamilton resident living on the Mountain and an employee of a not for profit organization in the downtown, I want to emphatically urge City Council to approve the latest LRT proposal. Not only is it important for an environmentally safe transit system, it is an important first step to improving public transit across the whole city. The first step has to be taken, this one is going east-west, the next will be north-south. And remember, maintenance costs will be required for any other option.
