I strongly believe the LRT is necessary. It is apparent that those that oppose the LRT has not been a regular bus rider. They need to ride a bus with walkers, baby carriages, perhaps a wheel chair on board. Trying to maneuver through this quagmire sometimes is impossible.

As a journalist I have followed this story for more than 30 years...just like the Linc and Red Hill Expressway which finally got built but costing umpteen million more dollars.
The system in Newcastle Australia, where I recently visited, my husband’s home town, was built in 18 months. We have to start somewhere when it comes to moving this city forward .
