The light rail project MUST proceed. Hamilton is going to be left behind BADLY if it doesn't.
Needless to say, its effectiveness will depend on how efficiently the bus system ties into the rail lines, with hassle-free transfers. (The Toronto system owes its success to this.) If LRT and the HSR buses are thought of as two different systems, that will be fatal.
