I have always been in favour !! But then I am a railway and street-car fan. At age 91 I won't see the LRT;But they should split the tracks downtown for some distance, East on Main and West on King, like they did it 3 times in the Kitchener-Waterloo Lrt line and that is a beauty !!! R. Braun

As a journalist I have followed this story for more than 30 years...just like the Linc and Red Hill Expressway which finally got built but costing umpteen million more dollars.
The system in Newcastle Australia, where I recently visited, my husband’s home town, was built in 18 months. We have to start somewhere when it comes to moving this city forward .
