I wholeheartedly support moving forward with the LRT plan, even as a resident of the West Mountain. This is good for our city as a whole. These opportunities to take bold steps for our city are very infrequent and we need to stop the paralysis by analysis and get going - NOW!

I completely support the new Hamilton LRT plan and urge Hamilton City Council to endorse it with the overwhelming majority vote it deserves. I am pleased to see the unwavering support of all the city's anchor institutions. The benefits will accrue to our environment and to all the residents of the City of Hamilton, not just downtown residents. I hope Hamilton will live up to its aspiration as an ambitious city by seizing this one-time opportunity.
