As a taxpaying Hamiltonian, I strongly urge every councilor to vote yes to our current LRT project and to NOT vote for delay this coming Wednesday. There are more supporters out there then a few vocal, misinformed naysayers. Hamilton will never get this infrastructure gift again. We can't afford to say no.

I completely support the new Hamilton LRT plan and urge Hamilton City Council to endorse it with the overwhelming majority vote it deserves. I am pleased to see the unwavering support of all the city's anchor institutions. The benefits will accrue to our environment and to all the residents of the City of Hamilton, not just downtown residents. I hope Hamilton will live up to its aspiration as an ambitious city by seizing this one-time opportunity.
