We have witnessed light rail in many countries - the last being in the new part of Rio de Janeiro. LRT was always full.

Other countries ...Greece, Italy, for example....always busy LRT.

As a journalist I have followed this story for more than 30 years...just like the Linc and Red Hill Expressway which finally got built but costing umpteen million more dollars.
The system in Newcastle Australia, where I recently visited, my husband’s home town, was built in 18 months. We have to start somewhere when it comes to moving this city forward .
