It is absolutely critical that this city moves forward with the LRT project. As a resident of the Mountain and a McMaster student, I strongly support the development of an LRT system in the downtown core starting in 2019. Get the funding secured NOW. No more beating around the bush, councillors!

I completely support the new Hamilton LRT plan and urge Hamilton City Council to endorse it with the overwhelming majority vote it deserves. I am pleased to see the unwavering support of all the city's anchor institutions. The benefits will accrue to our environment and to all the residents of the City of Hamilton, not just downtown residents. I hope Hamilton will live up to its aspiration as an ambitious city by seizing this one-time opportunity.
