Very strongly support LRT and the forward-thinking Provincial Gov't that is finally moving on this overdue priority. Trust that this will not be "derailed" by parochial local councillors in Hamilton who seem determined to live in the 1970's.

I completely support the new Hamilton LRT plan and urge Hamilton City Council to endorse it with the overwhelming majority vote it deserves. I am pleased to see the unwavering support of all the city's anchor institutions. The benefits will accrue to our environment and to all the residents of the City of Hamilton, not just downtown residents. I hope Hamilton will live up to its aspiration as an ambitious city by seizing this one-time opportunity.
