Light rail will support increased ridership.
It will get folks that would not normally get out of their cars to use transit.
This is necessary for the future as we try to avert disastrous climate change.
The difference between buses and light rail means the difference between status quo leading to increased pollution and climate change and a new Hamilton with a vigorous light rail line with growing businesses, reduced congestion on the roads and in nasal passages, and paricipation in envronmental improvements.
