As a young Hamiltonian who has committed to opening a new business in downtown Hamilton I would be devestated to know that some city officers would take it upon themselves to stop something that is so essential to the long term success of our downtown core. Please think of the future generations of our city who will rely on a safe, easy, environmentally friendly option to increase travel and business in our great city. Please vote yes!

I completely support the new Hamilton LRT plan and urge Hamilton City Council to endorse it with the overwhelming majority vote it deserves. I am pleased to see the unwavering support of all the city's anchor institutions. The benefits will accrue to our environment and to all the residents of the City of Hamilton, not just downtown residents. I hope Hamilton will live up to its aspiration as an ambitious city by seizing this one-time opportunity.
