Light rail would revitalize many parts of Hamilton's downtown; connect the city from East to West; aid students, the elderly, the poor; benifit the environment; and show that we are a city looking to the future. I don't understand why we are still asking questions about this. Build the rail while we still have the money from the Provinical government.

I completely support the new Hamilton LRT plan and urge Hamilton City Council to endorse it with the overwhelming majority vote it deserves. I am pleased to see the unwavering support of all the city's anchor institutions. The benefits will accrue to our environment and to all the residents of the City of Hamilton, not just downtown residents. I hope Hamilton will live up to its aspiration as an ambitious city by seizing this one-time opportunity.
