Statement by Anne Tennier
I hope, and frankly expect, our City Council to reaffirm its support for LRT. Any project of this magnitude will have some uncertainties, and details will firm up as design is completed. But we cannot wait until every detail is nailed to get started. It is much more productive to accept that there will be disruption and work to figure out how to support those businesses and individuals who will be impacted. This has the potential to be a transformative project for Hamilton. Let's be on the train when it leaves the station.
