Statement by Derek Hrynyshyn
Dear Mayor Eisenberger:
Please do everything you can to make sure that the LRT plan is approved and moves toward completion as soon as possible. Please do let Hamilton make the mistakes that other cities have made not planning ahead and creating a transit system before the city gets developed in a very dense way. The time to build transit is now, when there is an opportunity, and not later when it is much more difficult and expensive.
