My wife and I recently bought a house very close to the LRT route, with that in mind. We both grew up in Hamilton, and we both work in the city. We live in the East End, and I work downtown, so LRT would be the perfect way for me to travel to work each day. Please follow through on the promise and potential of LRT in Hamilton. It's a forward-thinking project that will, I think, produce massive, long-lasting benefits for the Hamilton community. Thank you.

Featured Statement

Cities with Hamilton's size and growth need appropriate public transit options. Other medium sized cities in Ontario are all planning or have built an LRT system (London, Ottawa, Waterloo, etc). Real estate will only get more expensive to acquire in the future, so building this now is the only thing that makes sense. I realize Hamilton votes NDP, but I hope the Ford government does the mature thing and invests in much needed infrastructure regardless.
