The LRT will have a substantial economic benefit for our city--with the growing number of youth and elderly in Hamilton, their needs must be considered and protected in an environmentally and economically sound way. LRT all the way!

I completely support the new Hamilton LRT plan and urge Hamilton City Council to endorse it with the overwhelming majority vote it deserves. I am pleased to see the unwavering support of all the city's anchor institutions. The benefits will accrue to our environment and to all the residents of the City of Hamilton, not just downtown residents. I hope Hamilton will live up to its aspiration as an ambitious city by seizing this one-time opportunity.
