Hamilton can be so much more than a bedroom community for Toronto. The city should invest in itself to rebuild a vital downtown. All day GO train service is not a substitute for an LRT.

As a journalist I have followed this story for more than 30 years...just like the Linc and Red Hill Expressway which finally got built but costing umpteen million more dollars.
The system in Newcastle Australia, where I recently visited, my husband’s home town, was built in 18 months. We have to start somewhere when it comes to moving this city forward .
